PDCA (plan-do-check-act) is an iterative four-step management method used in business for the control and continual improvement of processes and products & services. PDCA was popularized by Dr Deming while training Japanese on Quality concepts.

W. Edwards Deming was an American engineer, statistician & management consultant. He championed the works of Walter Shewhart ( American Engineer & statistician), the PDCA cycle and Statistical process control, that are key for Quality control & Quality Management.

Deming is best known for his role in Japan Quality revolution in 1950s after work war II. To commemorate Dr. Deming's contribution, the Union of Japanese Scientists & Engineers (JUSE) instituted Deming Prize to promote quality culture in Japan. Later this award was made open to all industries worldwide and It is the oldest and most widely recognized quality award in the world.

Continual Improvement (CI) is an recurring activity to enhance performance. The process of finding opportunities for improvement and establishing objectives is a continual process and generally happens through the use of Data analysis, Management reviews, Audit findings etc.

Yes - The QMS includes Document Control, resource management, performance analysis & evaluation and CAPA management.

Yes, we have facility for employees to be categorized based on departments and roles. Roles further fine-tune operations that can be performed. This will help in delegating responsibilities across the organization in the scope of CodonQMS.

CAPA is a tool to address the non-conformities/incidents. The first step is to take action to correct the gap/deviation/customer compliant. Then to identify the root cause for the non-conformance and implement Corrective Action to eliminate causes of the non-conformity. And also to review the recur or occur elsewhere and take preventive action to eliminate the potential non-conformances. (in 2015 standard, this is referred as risk based thinking and address the potential non-conformities at the planning stage)

It has a built-in WorkFlow mechanism that traces from beginning to the end in a sequential manner using 5 Whys or 4W1H or Fish-bone approaches and provide quantified data based on the status of various action items.

Yes - the document control mechanism takes care of the loss of confidentiality, improper use or loss of integrity. And Audit Log functionality will provide the necessary information about logging details for any investigation.

Yes, the QMS it includes audit log for the users.

Yes, we have the functionality Minutes of Meeting and it is automatically distributed to the involved groups /users.

Analytics & Reports

Yes, CodonQMS will provide analytics & reports As a standard package, have Cost Analysis, Trend Analysis, Average Turn-Around Time Analysis, Severity Analysis, Pareto Analysis for CAPA
And have MTTR Analysis, MTBF Analysis for Assets/resources
Reports are also prepared showing weekly/monthly & yearly trends.
Provision is made to add other key performance indicators / objectives data on a weekly/monthly basis and those reports can be made for viewing by the management.

Reports functionality would help in this regard.
